Recently, the official School of Dance channel uploaded a video with the caption, “Bring your parents with you.“
The video features a student from Buwon Girls’ Middle School performing an energetic dance routine to a popular song. Using the entire school gymnasium as her stage, the student impressed viewers with her remarkable stage presence and confidence. The two videos featuring her have amassed 8.91 million and 6.79 million views, respectively.
Among the many viewers was BTS’ V. On July 27, he left a comment reading, “HYBE. Hurry. Quickly,” widely interpreted as praise for the student’s outstanding performance and dance ability, while also jokingly suggesting that HYBE should recruit her.
The School of Dance team responded with surprise, replying, “Is this real…?” They later added, “Infinite thanks once again to V for the shout-out.“
Meanwhile, School of Dance is a cultural arts education program that visits schools across South Korea. The project regularly uploads videos showcasing talented students with exceptional dance skills from schools nationwide.
