G-Dragon To Make August Comeback Before Doing A Tour
BIGBANG’s G-Dragon will reportedly resume his music activities in earnest by releasing new songs this August
According to a News1 report on April 18th, G-Dragon is working hard after deciding on his comeback date in August. He is also planning to hold a concert tour soon after returning to the music industry in August.
Several insiders in the entertainment industry said that G-Dragon has been holding various meetings for his comeback this August.
As such, G-Dragon will introduce new music after more than seven years since the release of his second mini album “Kwon Ji-yong” in June 2017.
Especially, G-Dragon was born on August 18th,1988 and he also expressed special affection for the number 8 by choosing it as his lucky number in the past.
Therefore, the upcoming August comeback is expected to be very meaningful.
G-Dragon originally planned to release a new song last year, but the schedule was pushed back as he was suddenly embroiled in a drug case. After getting cleared of charges, the male singer signed an exclusive contract with AI metaverse company Galaxy Corporation in December last year and announced his plan to make a comeback in 2024.
Recently, Galaxy Corporation also confirmed that G-Dragon would officially make a comeback in the second half of this year. The agency told News1 that he would begin carrying out global promotions after this comeback, adding that activities in Japan are also planned. However, regarding the information of an August comeback, Galaxy Corporation cautiously stated, “The exact date of the comeback has not been decided yet”.
