F.T. Island is extending their two-decade-long journey with FNC Entertainment. On January 29, FNC officially announced, “We have renewed our contract with F.T. Island, who have been with us since our founding and played a major role in popularizing band music in the Hallyu wave. This renewal is particularly meaningful as 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of FNC’s establishment.”
Debuting in 2007, F.T. Island has released numerous hit songs such as “Love Sick,” “Thunder,” “Until You Come Back,” “After Love,” “I Hope,” “Love Love Love,” “Severely,” “PRAY,” and “Wind,” contributing to the mainstream appeal of band music. Their debut in Japan was equally impactful, achieving high rankings on the Oricon charts and solidifying their reputation as one of K-pop’s most prominent bands through international tours.

Last year, the band launched the project “FTestination,” showcasing their evolving musical direction through a series of digital singles. This project reaffirmed their identity as an ever-evolving and active band, unafraid to explore new musical territories.
F.T. Island continues to prove their live performance prowess, headlining major domestic music festivals and consistently receiving invitations to perform at university festivals, a testament to their cross-generational appeal and enduring popularity.
Beyond group activities, the members have also pursued solo careers in acting, musicals, and variety shows, demonstrating their versatility and individual strengths. Their continued growth both as a team and as individuals showcases their ability to thrive on all fronts.

FNC Entertainment plans to support F.T. Island’s future activities with a dedicated team and comprehensive management system. The band shared, “We’re grateful to continue this journey with FNC, a partner that has consistently supported and trusted us. Our relationship is one of mutual respect and deep appreciation.”
With this renewed partnership, F.T. Island is poised to embark on another chapter of their journey, promising exciting developments and new milestones ahead.
