From Jang Won Young’s Sister to “Single’s Inferno 2” Shin Seul Gi: New Drama “Pyramid Game” Confirms Casting

Jang Won Young‘s older sister Jang Da Ah and “Single’s Inferno” Star Shin Seul Gi are confirmed to star in “Pyramid Game.”

“Pyramid Game,” based on a psychological thriller webtoon of the same name, will be reborn as a TVING original series in 2024. 

“Pyramid Game” depicts the story of high school girls who are victims of school violence in Class 5 of Baekyeon High School, where each student’s rank is determined by monthly voting.

Rising young actors will appear as the high school girls who navigate between the victims, perpetrators, and bystanders of this vicious game. Kim Ji Yeon has been cast as Sung Su Ji, a victim of school violence and leads a rebellion as soon as she transfers to the school.

In addition, rookie actresses such as Jang Da Ah, Jang Won Young’s older sister, “Crash Course in Romance” stars Ryu Da In and Kang Na Eon, Jung Ha Dam, who has gained attention as a rising star in the film industry, are expected to deliver remarkable performances.

“Single’s Inferno 2” star Shin Seul Gi and “The Red Sleeves” Ha Yul Ri have also joined the cast, completing a solid lineup.

“Pyramid Game” sheds light on the fierce struggle of 18 girls against school violence that has become a daily routine. The drama is expected to go beyond the high school genre and explore various elements of thriller, social criticism, and crime through the reflection of a violent society in the school setting.
