BTS J-Hope becomes assistant instructor following Jin

BTS J-Hope (real name Jung Ho Seok) was selected as an “assistant instructor” at the boot camp.

Earlier, Jin, the oldest member of BTS, was also selected as an assistant instructor. J-Hope ended up succeeding Jin.

On May 31st, Newsis reported that J-Hope, who recently completed the basic military education training course of the 36th Infantry Division’s Recruit Training Center, will stay at the 36th Infantry Division’s Recruit Training Center to spend the rest of his military life as an “assistant instructor”.

According to the report, an army official said, “It’s true that the personnel were selected as assistant instructors at the boot camp after undergoing an evaluation. If they pass a certain period of educational qualification evaluation, they will perform the duties of an assistant instructor.”

On May 24th, J-Hope completed the basic military education training course and was promoted to a private.

On this day, J-Hope said through the fan communication platform Weverse, “ARMY! I completed it well. I was able to train hard because the letters and support you sent me were very helpful.”

J-Hope, who will stay at the 36th Infantry Division’s Recruit Training Center, is expected to spend the rest of his military life as an assistant instructor until October 17th, 2024.

Meanwhile, Jin, who was selected as an assistant instructor before J-Hope, is serving as an assistant instructor at the 5th Infantry Division’s Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon-gun.
