Bang Ye-dam is making his debut as a solo artist
On the 30th, his agency, GF Entertainment, announced, “Bang Ye-dam will release his pre-release single on November 10 and his first mini-album on November 23.”
Previously, Bang Ye-dam gained recognition when he appeared on SBS’s “K-Pop Star Season 2” in 2013, where he received high praise for his captivating voice and performances, being dubbed the “Korean Justin Bieber” and “Little Michael Jackson.” He secured the second place on the show. Later, he debuted as a member of the group Treasure and gained a lot of love from fans.
Notably, Bang Ye-dam has demonstrated his skills as a songwriter and composer by participating in various artists’ album productions, enhancing expectations for his solo debut.
Bang Ye-dam expressed, “The term ‘solo artist Bang Ye-dam’ still feels strange to me, and there is a significant pressure to fill the stage alone. But I’m excited about the opportunity to show my own stage and feel a sense of responsibility. I would be grateful if you look forward to seeing various aspects of me in the future.”
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment issued an official statement on November 8, 2022, affirming that the agency has come to a mutual understanding with Bang Ye Dam to finalize his contract.
