The upcoming Mnet survival show, “Queendom Puzzle”, is in the middle of its casting process.
On April 19th, Korean media outlets reported that JooE, a former member of girl group MOMOLAND, and Kei, a former member of girl group Lovelyz, will be joining the Mnet program “Queendom Puzzle”.
“Queendom Puzzle” is a new season of the “Queendom” series, which began airing in 2019. Unlike previous seasons where active girl groups competed, this season has changed the format to combine former and current girl group members, with the aim to combine different members, like puzzle pieces, and create a global girl group.
Previously, it was also reported that former IZ*ONE members Nako Yabuki and Hitomi Honda will participate as individuals in the show.
On the other hand, JooE has been active as a solo act since MOMOLAND’s disbandment in February 2023. Meanwhile, Kei made her solo debut in 2019, while her group, Lovelyz, disbanded in 2021.
“Queendom Puzzle” is scheduled to air in June.
