Former “I-LAND” contestant Youngbin left BLANK2Y after abuse accusations 

The agency of BLANK2Y member Youngbin, who used to appear in “I-LAND”, has released an official statement. 

Recently, an article which accused a male idol of abusing and choking his girlfriend unconscious was published on a Korean forum, gaining massive attention. From information given in the article and blurred images attached, netizens speculated that the male idol in question is BLANK2Y member Youngbin, who used to participate in “I-LAND”.

Regarding this accusation, BLANK2Y’s agency, Keystone Entertainment, has released an official statement, saying:

“First and foremost, we’d like to apologize for causing concerns and frustrations to fans of BLANK2Y and the public. 

Today, we have confirmed information regarding recent accusations on an online forum, which our artist, Youngbin, is facing. Therefore, we would like to make an official announcement regarding the status of Youngbin and BLANK2Y. 

We have decided that Youngbin will be leaving the group starting today. BLANK2Y will continue their promotional activities as normal without Youngbin. 

Once again, we’d like to apologize for troubling fans and the public with the matters related to Youngbin.”
