In the past, JYP was known as a “hitmaker”, who continuously produced iconic girl groups such as Wonder Girls, Miss A, TWICE, and ITZY.
Among those, the JYP girl group Miss A was a rather special case. Debuting in 2010 with “Bad Girl Good Girl,” the group quickly set numerous records, becoming the fastest girl group to achieve first place on music shows at the time and even winning the MAMA Daesang with their debut song.
After the success of “Bad Girl Good Girl,” Miss A continued to release a string of hits. Even their final song before disbandment, “Only You,” achieved remarkable success.
However, Miss A did not thrive in the music industry for long. With outstanding visuals that earned her the title of “the nation’s first love”, the group’s youngest member, Suzy, unintentionally outshone the rest of her team, leading to Miss A being perceived as “Suzy and friends.”
As Suzy became more and more recognized, the other three members fell behind, unable to find a stable place in the industry. In the end, member Jia left the group in 2016, followed by Min in 2017, and Miss A officially disbanded in December 2017. Suzy was the only member to renew her contract with JYP, fueling rumors of discord in the group.
Curiously, former Miss A member Fei recently shared a photo of her reunion with “former boss” JYP. Many fans, upon seeing this picture, hoped that one day Miss A would reunite, but considering how the group ended up disbanding, Miss A’s comeback chance may be zero.
In particular, it is known that Fei, Min, and Jia all kept in contact, but have completely distanced themselves from Suzy. They followed each other on Instagram and would hang out together, but never with Suzy.
As a result, the comeback chance for Miss A, especially with a full 4 member lineup, is likely zero.
