Former female Kpop idol showed alarming condition, only 38kg after suffering from domestic abuse 

The newest update of a former female Kpop idol invoked pity from the public.

Only July 16th, former member of Kpop group Jewelry Cho Min Ah published a new photo onto her personal Instagram and immediately drew attention from netizens. According to Min Ah, she filed for a divorce on June 29th, after a long time suffering under her abusive husband. Now, the former famous idol is raising her son alone. 

Cho Min Ah also shared that she recently lost 3kg, and now only weighs 38.4 kg – an alarming number to a fully-grown adult.  Looking at her haggard appearance and thin frame, many netizens couldn’t help but express regrets that a tough family life has truly worn out this once lively and gorgeous idol.

Previously in May, Cho Min Ah talked about her life filled with domestic abuse on SNS. In particular, the former Jewelry member shared: “While Kang Ho (Cho Min Ah’s son) was asleep, the never-ending suffocation began, and mom was thrown to the floor and lost consciousness due to the impact. The paramedics arrived, and so did the police.”

She also replied to a comment, stating: “When the paramedics arrived, he (Cho Min Ah’s husband) was performing CPR, but when they left, he started cursing me out again. Every day feels like hell. Save me.”

Cho Min Ah was born in 1984, and later debuted in Jewelry – a Kpop group famous for their hit song “One More Time”. She also took on several acting projects, before marrying a CEO of a fitness center back in September 2020 and withdrawing from the entertainment industry.
