Following police raid due to suspicion of embezzlement, Park Min Young’s agency denies rumors related to Youn Yuh Jung
Hook Entertainment denied rumors of parting ways with actress Youn Yuh Jung.
On November 17th, Hook Entertainment said, “The information that Youn Yuh Jung is leaving our agency is groundless.”
The company also said, “We do not have a verbal contract with Youn Yuh Jung at all. She signed an exclusive contract like a normal artist.”
Earlier today, a media outlet raised rumors of Youn Yuh Jung’s contract termination and that the veteran actress was going to leave her Hook Entertainment. According to the report, Youn Yuh Jung is said to be in a verbal contract with Hook Entertainment.
However, Hook Entertainment has denied the rumor and expressed that it was absurd. In fact, Youn Yuh Jung has been working with Hook Entertainment for a long time.
Meanwhile, on November 10th, Hook Entertainment was raided by the Severe Crime Investigation Division of the National Police Agency due to suspicion of embezzlement by management.
Hook Entertainment is home to singer Lee Sun Hee, actors Lee Seo Jin, Park Min Young, Lee Seung Gi, and Youn Yuh Jung.
