In particular, PD Na said that Youn Yuh-jung made every effort to write her answers in English, saying, “The contents containing our history should not be misinformed,” before the interview for the premiere of “Pachinko.” In fact, Youn Yuh-jung showed the dignity of a Korean actress by showing off her fluent English skills in an interview at the global premiere of the Apple TV+ series “Pachinko” held at the Academy Theater in Los Angeles on April 17th (Korea time). She surprised everyone by explaining in English why she chose the character Sunja in “Pachinko” and her philosophy on the character without the need of an interpreter at the time.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “Unexpected Journey” is a program in which Youn Yuh-jung, the first Korean to receive the “Best Supporting Actress” award at the 93rd U.S. Academy Awards and become a presenter at the 94th Academy Awards, tells her story after the Oscars.

Producer Na Young-seok, Lee Seo-jin, and Youn Yuh-jung‘s “Unexpected Journey” in LA will premiere on tvN at 10:50 p.m. on May 8th.
