Recently, a clip of a performance in a military setting was shared on Threads by the account @godggul, quickly amassing nearly 4.5 million views within just 23 hours. According to information on the account, it belongs to a Korean female singer born in 1988. Her Instagram account reportedly has more than 101,000 followers.

In the video, the singer appears wearing a crop top and a short skirt. The performance takes place in an open space without a proper stage or a clear separation between the performer and the audience. Notably, some of the choreography such as crawling movements on the ground and twerking was performed at very close range to the soldiers watching. The close camera angles and lack of distance between the performer and the audience made certain moments appear particularly sensitive.
As the clip spread across social media and online communities, it quickly generated mixed reactions. Many netizens questioned the appropriateness of the performance in a military environment. Some expressed anger over what they described as provocative choreography, asking, “How can this kind of performance take place in a military setting?”

In the caption accompanying the video, @godggul wrote, “It might be understandable if there’s no stage, but is it really okay to watch something like this from the front row?” After completing the dance moves, the singer is also seen approaching the soldiers more closely to interact with them.
The clip continues to circulate online, fueling ongoing debate and divided opinions under the original post.
