On the December 1 broadcast of “From One to Ten” on T-Cast E Channel, knowledge show hosts Jang Sung-kyu and Kang Ji-young explored the theme “Warning: Mysteries More Horrific Than Fiction,” diving deep into ten bizarre and disturbing events from around the globe.
These tales, shrouded in unresolved questions and conspiracy theories, captivated the audience with intense suspense and compelling storytelling.

Topping the list was the Nepal Royal Massacre, a tragic incident that marked the end of a 240-year-old monarchy. In 2001, Crown Prince Dipendra, who was next in line to the throne, opened fire and killed King Birendra and several members of the royal family before turning the gun on himself. After Gyanendra ascended the throne, widespread public outrage over his corruption eventually led to the abolition of the monarchy. Despite theories ranging from a forbidden love affair to a power grab by Gyanendra, the true cause remains veiled in mystery.
In second place was the Shinjuku BJ Murder, where a Japanese internet broadcaster, Airi Sato, was killed during a livestream in front of 6,500 viewers. Her assailant, Kenichi Tagano, was reportedly a devoted fan. The shocking twist came when it was revealed that Airi had borrowed around ₩25 million from Tagano under various pretexts—claiming she lost her wallet or her phone was disconnected—and cut off contact when he asked for repayment. Jang Sung-kyu commented, “She exploited a fan’s devotion for money,” expressing his unease over the case.

The infamous Miami Zombie Attack also resurfaced. Rudy Eugene, a 31-year-old car wash employee, was found naked on the streets attacking a homeless man, biting his face in a cannibalistic frenzy. Even after being shot three times by police, he did not go down immediately, leading to suspicions of synthetic drugs. However, no such substances were found in his system, sparking terrifying speculation that defied logic.
Another case that enraged viewers was the Susan Powell Disappearance, marked by the obsessive behavior of her father-in-law, including voyeurism and stealing underwear. She vanished without a trace, leaving behind only disturbing clues and a suspicious life insurance policy worth ₩3.3 billion.
“From One to Ten” airs every Monday at 8 PM.
