Fans Expect “Scene Stealers” Kim Jung-nan & Lee Joo-bin To Present Twists In “Queen Of Tears”

tvN’s popular drama “Queen of Tears” with 20 episodes has gone halfway through its journey. Amid high expectations for future developments, attention is also focused on whether “scene stealers” Kim Jung-nan and Lee Joo-bin will create twists.

Kim Jung-nan appeared as Hong Beom-ja, the aunt of Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won). At the beginning of the drama, Hong Beom-ja drew attention as she showed up at her mother’s memorial in an eye-catching outfit with a leopard pattern. In addition, she boldly disrupted the remarriage wedding of her ex-husband after they divorced due to the husband’s love affair.

However, unlike her cold appearance and personality, Hong Beom-ja easily cries and is more affectionate than anyone else. After discovering the fact that her niece Hong Hae-in has little time left, she agreed to Hong Hae-in’s request to keep it a secret. Hong Beom-ja did not say a word until Hong Hae-in revealed it by herself. As such, this character with an unexpected side is gaining support from viewers. 

Apart from being the only person who is close to all the members of the Hong family, she also suspected Mo Sul-hee (Lee Mi-sook)’s identity from the beginning. Expectations are high on how Hong Beom-ja will perform in the next episodes. In fact, there are speculations that Hong Beom-ja’s role may be finding the slush funds.

Another impressive “scene stealer” character in “Queen of Tears” is Hong Soo-cheol (Kwak Dong-yeon)’s wife Cheon Da-hye played by Lee Joo-bin.

Cheon Da-hye left Hong Soo-cheol after hitting Soo-cheol on the back of his head by revealing their son Geon-woo’s birthday secret in a letter. However, she was so surprised and confused when Hong Soo-cheol reached out to her by logging into her favorite mobile game. 

Feeling Hong Soo-cheol’s sincerity when he tried to take care of Geonwoo’s vaccination, she was deeply touched. Surrounded by people like Yoo Eun-sung (Park Sung-hoon) and Grace (Kim Joo-ryeong), Cheon Da-hye wondered if she really developed genuine affection for Soo-cheol. Although Cheon Da-hye betrayed Queen’s group, many viewers still believe that she may become the family’s helper and that Geunwoo may be Hong Soo-cheol’s real son.

As the second half of “Queen of Tears” has just begun, fans are looking forward to some twists created by “scene stealers” Kim Jung-nan and Lee Joo-bin.
