Taiwanese singer and actor Jam Hsiao has announced his engagement to his 50-year-old manager, Summer Lin.
Last month on social media, famous singer and actor Jam Hsiao announced his engagement to his manager, Summer Lin. The two, who had been rumored to be dating for years, not only started a public relationship but also announced their engagement.
The announcement, which surprised everyone, was made on Summer Lin’s 50th birthday.
In his post, Jam Hsiao expressed his happiness and gratitude for having music, good friends, a loving family, and devoted fans. He also stated that he has now found “a true and complete love” and hopes to receive everyone’s blessings.
According to Jam Hsiao, it was him who proposed to Summer Lin, saying, “I officially said goodbye to my single life. I will cherish and love her.”
On the other hand, Jam Hsiao and Summer have been working together since their debut in the entertainment industry and have been in a romantic relationship for years. After the announcement, Jam Hsiao’s agency shared a heartwarming video of his proposal on social media.
In the emotional video, Jam Hsiao, wearing a tuxedo, shedded tears and said, “We have been dating secretly these past 16 years, to the point even our best friends and closest family members have never heard us confirm our relationship. From now on, I want to let the whole world know that Mama (Summer), you are no longer alone. I want to share your burden with you, I hope I did not make you wait too long for this day.”
Meanwhile, Jam Hsiao gained fame after appearing in the TV show “One Million Star”, which is considered the Taiwanese equivalent of “American Idol”. He has since released various hit albums like “Jam Hsiao”, “Princess”, and “Love Moments”, among others, as well as appeared in movies such as “My Geeky Nerdy Buddies” and “Crazy New Year’s Eve”.
