Famous lines of “sweet but mad guy” Lee Do Hyun in “The Glory” that captivate viewers

Actor Lee Do Hyun is receiving huge love from K-drama fans all around the world thanks to his performance in Netflix’s original series “The Glory”,  which released Part 2 on March 10th. He played Joo Yeo Jeong, a plastic surgeon who helps Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) take revenge.

In particular, Lee Do Hyun impressed viewers with his portrayal of the “sweet but mad guy” Joo Yeo Jeong, who draws laughter with his sweet and affectionate side but also carefully plans his revenge and becomes Moon Dong Eun’s executioner.

This is how Joo Yeo Jeong explains why he always supports Moon Dong Eun without hesitation. Dong Eun’s request is like an order to Yeo Jeong. Yeo Jeong volunteers to become the closest assistant and helps Dong Eun complete the revenge plan she has spent her whole life carefully preparing. Using his background, he directly approaches Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon) as well as other perpetrators and adds strength to Dong Eun’s revenge.

Yeo Jeong vowed to stay with his savior Dong Eun until the end, saying “I’m going to live like a mad guy.” While doing his job as Dong Eun’s executioner, Yeo Jeong says to Dong Eun, who is looking at a dead body, “Only look at pretty things. This one is not pretty”, fluttering female fans’ hearts with his caring side. Unlike his sweet words, Yeo Jeong takes out a scalpel and cuts a piece of the dead body’s skin with a calm expression, giving a creepy vibe.

“I’ll show you hell”

In Part 2, Yeo Jeong begins to take revenge for his father’s death. Eventually facing the killer Kang Young Cheon (Lee Moo Saeng), he firmly says, “Next time, I’ll show you the hell that you will live in. Please stay healthy until then”. Through that line, Yeo Jeong announces the beginning of his revenge against Kang Young Cheon, who has pushed him into hell. His creepy face in that scene perfectly expresses the unexpected side of the “mad guy” Yeo Jeong.
