F.T. Island Lee Hong Ki, “Looking at Choi Min Hwan, I thought I shouldn’t get married” (“Knowing Bros”)

F.T. Island Lee Hong Ki reveals his thoughts about marriage after seeing the youngest member Choi Min Hwan get married.

JTBC’s “Knowing Bros”, which will air on December 17th, features singer Kim Yeon Ja, and F.T. Island members Lee Hong Ki & Lee Jae Jin. They talk about the legendary song “Amor Fati” and various stories that happened in their career.

Recalling the past when he was a trainee, Lee Jae Jin says, “I thought I would be the main vocalist until Lee Hong Ki joined our team”. He then reveals the decisive incident that made him recognize Lee Hong Ki as the main vocalist. Hearing the story, Kim Hee Chul re-enacts the reactions of Super Junior’s vocal members when listening to Kyu Hyun singing as he joined the group late, drawing laughter.

When asked if he envied Choi Min Hwan, the first F.T. Island member to get married, Lee Hong Ki says, “Looking at Min Hwan, I thought I shouldn’t get married”, making everyone laugh hard.

In particular, Lee Hong Ki explains, “Whenever we went touring overseas, Choi Min Hwan looked sad when thinking about his family, but his mouth was smiling”, revealing a “funny but sad” witness.

Meanwhile, the new episode of “Knowing Bros” with guests Kim Yeon Ja, Lee Hong Ki, and Lee Jae Jin will air on JTBC at 8:50 p.m. on December 17th.
