According to Nielsen Korea, episode 7 of ENA’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, which aired on July 20th, recorded an average nationwide rating of 11.7% and 12.9% in the Seoul metropolitan area. This marks an increase of 2% from the previous episode, and is also the first time that the ratings have exceeded the 10% level.
On this day, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” took the first place in ratings across all cable channels. The reruns also made it into the TOP 10 ratings at 4th (2.4%) and 8th (1.3%), respectively.
tvN’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Eve” and entertainment show “You Quiz on the Block”, which ranked 2nd and 3rd in viewer ratings on cable channels, earned 3% nationwide.
The 1st and 2nd places on public channels were the daily dramas KBS1’s “Bravo, My Life” and KBS2’s “Gold Mask”, which recorded 18% and 14.5% in ratings, respectively. Attention is drawn to whether “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, which has been showing a steady rise, will be able to surpass the ratings on public channels.
“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” premiered to the lowest viewership rating of 0.9% in the first episode, followed by 1.8% in episode 2, 4.0% in episode 3, and 5.1% in episode 4. The drama then became viral, so episode 5 and 6 recorded the largest increase and the ratings soared to 9%.
A scene from episode 7 of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” that supports the loveline between Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin) and Lee Jun Ho (Kang Tae Oh) became a hot topic because of how heart-fluttering it is.
To confirm her feelings for Lee Jun Ho, Woo Young Woo asked, “Can I touch Lee Jun Ho?” In response, Lee Junho said, “Then if you don’t touch me, your heart won’t be beating fast? I’m disappointed”, making the viewers’ hearts pound.
