Experiencing ups and downs throughout her career, Song Hye Kyo reveals her way to overcome trials
Actress Song Hye Kyo’s wise words about life impressed everyone.
An interview video with Song Hye Kyo was uploaded on the official Youtube channel of Elle Korea on January 18th.
The released video shows the actress answering questions, some of which drew keen attention.
Song Hye Kyo received the question, “Words that were most encouraging, and what you wanna say to those you love?”.
Song Hye Kyo made her debut in the entertainment industry in 1996 at the age of 16 and went through a rough way until now as a 43-year-old top actress.
The actress has had many good and bad experiences throughout her career, from criticisms over her acting skills compared to her perfect beauty, to the tax evasion scandal that she even had to explain herself, dating, getting married and divorcing actor Song Joong Ki, whom she worked with in the mega-hit drama “Descendants of the Sun”, as well as the recent success of Netflix’s original series “The Glory”.
Therefore, the actress answered, “‘Time will solve everything’ was actually annoying. But after some time, I think it was the most encouraging. Time really did solve everything”.
She continued, “What I wanna say to people I love… If right now things are tough, just feel the pain at this moment. Right now, even if I tell them not to feel the pain, it’s not gonna be less painful. Rather, feel the pain enough, then it goes away. If you try to push it away, the painful time becomes longer.”
Song Hye Kyo also revealed the way she relieves stress. She said, “All my friends have puppies, so we all go to a puppy cottage, have a glass of wine and talk. We listen to music and enjoy nature. I relieve my stress like that As I’ve gotten older, I don’t like loud places. I like talking in one place the most”
Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo plays Moon Dong Eun, who designs a revenge plan to punish those who bullied her in high school.
Since “The Glory” was released, Song Hye Kyo has been receiving favorable reviews for her acting. The drama also swept the top spot on Netflix charts around the world.
