On June 10, INB100, the current agency of EXO’s Chen. Baekhyun & Xiumin, announced that they will be holding an urgent press conference on the afternoon of the same day.
In particular, INB100 released an official statement as below:
“Last June, EXO’s CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, & Xiumin unit) successfully completed legal actions, including terminating their exclusive contracts and filing a complaint with the Fair Trade Commission, through a joint statement with SM Entertainment.
At that time, both parties resolved the issue through negotiations, believing that EXO’s group activities were the most important. According to the agreement at that time, INB100 was to be established, and activities would be conducted under the individual names of the artists and EXO’s CBX.
However, SM Entertainment ignored the content of the negotiations and demanded that INB100 provide 10% of the revenue from the artists’ personal activities.
INB100 has submitted evidence of this unfairness, but SM Entertainment has not responded for over two months. Therefore, Chen, Baekhyun & Xiumin will hold a press conference this afternoon to address the issue.”
