Boy group EXO member Kai shaved his hair prior to his enlistment in the military.
On May 10th, boy group EXO member Kai released a selfie with a buzz cut on the fan communication messenger Bubble. In the released photo, Kai caught attention with a buzz cut close to a shaved head. With a new haircut, Kai managed to charm viewers with a sleek face line, clear features, and intense eyes.
Kai kept his promise at a fan meeting held online and offline on May 9th, reportedly stating that he would take a selfie and show it off to fans. The wrote, “I like it more than I thought,” adding, “I love the feeling of my hair,” he said, expressing satisfaction with a short hairstyle.
The “Rover” singer also expressed, “I think it’s the first time in my life. It’s the first time that the wind has passed through my head,” showing an interesting reaction.
Earlier, Kai received a sudden military enlistment notice from the Military Manpower Administration while speeding up preparations for EXO’s full activities. He plans to enter the military camp on May 11th, carry out basic military training, and serve as a public service worker.
Recently, Kai said on a live broadcast, stating, “There’s so much that I had prepared. What a pity. That’s what’s upsetting. There’s nothing that I could do about this. I’m sad that I can’t show you what I prepared but I can just show it after I return. It’d be nice if I could see your faces before I go. I think I’m going to miss you so much. I’m already missing you right now though. Today is the first day of me finding out about it as well, so please be understanding. I’ll smile from tomorrow onwards,” Kai said in tears.
