As Kim Go-eun stood in the middle of the team, Choi Min-sik introduced her as “Son Heung-min and Messi of our movie, Go-eun”. After the introduction, Kim Go-eun shyly said, “Thank you so much for filling the cinema like this”, adding “I’m so touched that you guys spent your golden weekend coming to the theater to watch our movie ‘Exhuma’. This is the first week of the stage greeting event, and I think I’ll receive so much strength for my comeback later”.

She continued, “I just heard the news that our movie hit 2 million viewers”, adding “But everyone, ‘Dune 2’ is rising at a very scary speed right now. Please promote our drama through word of mouth and show the power and potential of Korean movies”, drawing laughter.

The actress made such a remark due to the high ticket reservation rate of “Dune: Part 2”, starring Timothée Chalamet, which will premiere on February 28th. Since there won’t be any new blockbuster projects until the end of March, the two movies will probably become competitors. As such, the actress was their desire and determination to continue the popularity of “Exhuma”.

Going up to the audience seats to give surprise gifts to viewers, Kim Go-eun took selfies at the request of fans near the hallway. She also waved her hands enthusiastically upon discovering an acquaintance and completed a heart pose with an audience upon leaving.

Meanwhile, Choi Min-sik also mentioned Lee Do-hyun, saying, “Please give a round of applause for Lee Do-hyun, a handsome shaman who can’t come because he’s serving in the military. He will like it so much”.

Despite the mixed reaction to its genre, “Exhuma” became viral after its release on February 22nd and is considered a “movie that you should watch in theaters”. It gathered visitors faster than “The Wailing” and “12.12: The Day”. The movie also received 8.4 points on Naver and 3.7 (out of 5) points on Daum.
