Regarding his recent situation, Taeheon said, “I’m working at Coupang logistics center. My working day starts at 1:30 a.m. early in the morning and finishes at 9 a.m. I work six days a week and earn about 640,000 won”, adding “I saw an online post about my job and I don’t understand why people criticize me for working to earn my living. Some ask, ‘Why do you disgrace ZE:A?’, but I don’t know why I have to be embarrassed about working at the logistics center.”

He confessed, “Two years ago, I worked part-time at a construction site. The boiler got cut off, so I developed a skin disease and couldn’t even pay the electricity bills. I had only about 1,200 won in cash and 0 won in my bank account. I bought one pack of instant noodles and divided it into half to eat two times a day”, drawing regrets.

Revealing that he struggled with his livelihood even after fulfilling his military service, Taeheon continued, “I did earn money during ZE:A promotions but it was not enough. Since the members did individual activities, the gaps between us were huge and we earned our salaries separately, not as a team”.

Mentioning member Kwanghee, he said, “Thankfully, Kwanghee contacted me on my birthday in June. He sent me some money and comforted me, saying ‘You’re having a hard time, right? Si Wan, me, and the members are always thinking about you. I believe that you can do well and I hope you can work harder’”, expressing his gratitude toward Kwanghee.

Regarding ZE:A members, Taeheon shared, “The members are very humble and they always contact me first although they’ve become so famous”, adding “They must be having a hard time too, but they still pay attention to someone else. That’s why I feel so sorry”. In addition, he said, “I met Si Wan at his fanmeeting not too long ago. I realized that Si Wan is working hard. He studies the scripts by writing questions on them.”

When asked about his future plans, Taeheon, who recently won a sports boxing competition, said, “I’m thinking about participating in professional competitions”. Hinting at his return to the entertainment industry, he said, “I’m in a theater group. I will quickly organize my situation and make a comeback around the end of next year.”
