Former TREASURE member Bang Ye Dam announces his new journey with the new agency GF Entertainment.
GF Entertainment released an announcement, stating “We recently signed an exclusive contract with Bang Ye Dam”. They added, “We are very happy to have signed with such a talented artist. We will not spare any effort in supporting Bang Ye Dam so that he can become a musician engaging in various fields both as a producer and a singer”.
Bang Ye Dam won second place in SBS’s “K-pop Star Season 2” in 2013. Nicknamed “Little Michael Jackson”, he received favorable reviews for his attractive voice and performances. Later, Bang Ye Dam spent a long time as a trainee under YG Entertainment then gained huge love after making his debut with the boy group TREASURE.
In 2022, he wrapped up his long journey with TREASURE and YG and heralded a leap forward as a producer and solo artist with his own music color.
GF Entertainment is currently managing the boy group Kingdom. In particular, GF’s CEO Nam Goong Chan is a veteran producer in the music industry who used to manage IU’s activities under LOEN Entertainment with many other musicians, such as Kim Hyun Chul.
Bang Ye Dam is expected to carry out active music activities in the future after joining hands with GF Entertainment.
