Ex-Teen Top C.A.P “Receive 70,000 won per day, now I’m happier”

Former Teen Top member C.A.P (real name Bang Min Soo) revealed how he is living happily while doing what he wants to do.

On July 4th, a video titled “Idol singer who receives 70,000 won per day but is very happy now” was uploaded on the YouTube channel “All About Job”.

C.A.P revealed that he has been taking sleeping pills for about 5 years due to stress that occurred during his idol career. He explained that he started taking sleeping pills because he could not sleep even after drinking alcohol, and the pills helped him cope with the emptiness he felt when transitioning from his public persona as C.A.P to his real self as Bang Min Soo.

After leaving the idol industry, C.A.P found work as a gardener and showed passion for his new job. He explained that he earns more than one million won per month from gardening, charging 50,000~70,000 won per 100 pyeong.

C.A.P expressed that he values having even small skills because it is a field that many people need but may not be familiar with. He believed that physical labor jobs, like gardening, should be considered as much of “hard labor” as construction work.

When asked about the contrast between his previous glamorous life as a celebrity and his current manual labor job, C.A.P stated that people should question why he chose to leave the entertainment industry. He felt that his current occupation gives him a sense of fulfillment and considered his gardening work as a real career.

C.A.P also mentioned that he is happier in his current situation, even though he could have earned more money as an idol. He emphasized that pursuing what he wants to do is more important to him than financial success.

C.A.P reflected on his time as a trainee, practicing the same dance routine for 12 hours a day from 10 AM to 10 PM. He also mentioned the strict control and restrictions imposed by his agency during his idol days, such as having to ask for permission to visit a convenience store or having his phone confiscated.
