Ex-IZ*ONE Nako Yabuki’s contract with Japanese agency expires: Will she promote in Korea like Sakura?

The exclusive contract between Japanese girl group HKT48 and former IZ*ONE member Nako Yabuki and her Japanese agency has expired.

Fans’ interest is currently focused on whether Nako Yabuki will continue her activities in Korea like how Miyawaki Sakura re-debuted in LE SSERAFIM.

On January 28th, Nako Yabuki said on her Twitter, “I will leave Vernalossom following the end of my exclusive contract. I ask for your continued support.”

Nako Yabuki debuted in Japanese girl group HKT48 in 2013 and has been greatly loved for her cute, petite appearance and mature personality.

Proving her popularity by ranking ninth in the 2018 AKB48 general election, Nako Yabuki appeared on Mnet’s popular survival show “Produce 48” in October of the same year and debuted in IZ*ONE with the final 6th place.

After IZ*ONE disbanded, she returned to Japan and continued her activities as a member of HKT48. At HKT48’s 11th anniversary concert held in October of last year, she announced her new challenge as an actor.

In response, attention is focused on whether Nako Yabuki will pursue an acting career in Japan or whether she will choose to go to Korea like LE SSERAFIM and former IZ*ONE’s Sakura.
