Former IZ*ONE member Kim Min-ju, who refused to join HYBE’s girl group, has joined ‘this agency’

Kim Min-ju, a former member of the girl group IZ*ONE, will start her new journey in Management SOOP.

Management Soop said in an official position on the 1st, “We are happy to be with Kim Min-ju’s new beginning, and we plan to actively support him so that he can go one step further as an actor.”

The agency continued, “I live highly of the possibility of Kim Min-ju, who does not settle for the present and is constantly challenging. She has infinite potential as an actor to show in the future, and we will fully support her so that she can show her strengths well.”

Kim Min-ju’s contract with her current agency Urban Works Media will expire at the end of this month. After the news of her upcoming contract expiration was reported, Kim Min-ju, who had met with many agencies with a bigger dream for acting activities, decided to sign an exclusive contract with Management SOOP after much consideration.

Kim Min-joo has dreamed of becoming an actress even before appearing on Mnet’s  “Produce 48”. Even when the rumors of her joining HYBE broke out, Kim Min-joo expressed her strong will and determination for acting by releasing her actress profile photos on Instagram.

Management SOOP is the house to many famous actors, including Gong Yoo, Gong Hyo-jin, Seo Hyun-jin, Nam Joo-hyuk, Jeon Do-yeon, Jung Yu-mi, and Choi Woo-sik. Known as a representative actor agency, Management SOOP is expected to help Kim Min-ju carry out full-fledged activities as an actress.
