“Don’t bully Yoo Jae-suk anymore…” A celebrity’s Facebook post that is currently in the spotlight
Taste columnist Hwang Gyo-ik is drawing attention for writing a post mentioning national MC Yoo Jae-suk.
Hwang Gyo-ik wrote on Facebook on April 27th, “Don’t ask Yoo Jae-suk to express his position about Yoon Seok-yeol‘s appearance on You Quiz. Yoo Jae-suk is only the host of You Quiz. A host does not have the right to choose the guests.”
He continued, “The person in charge of selecting the guests is the PD, and the CP is also involved in it. Whether Yoon Seok-yeol will appear as a politician or not reflects the board of directors’ intention. No matter who the guest is, whether Yoo Jae-suk personally likes it or not, he has to do what is entrusted to him as a host.”
He then added, “It seems that the production team of You Quiz said ‘The host doesn’t like the appearance of politicians’ when it comes to casting politicians other than Yoon Seok-yeol, but the production team should explain this rather than Yoo Jae-suk.”
He concluded the post, “Don’t bully Yoo Jae-suk anymore. CJ, please step up and protect Yoo Jae-suk. Let’s work like human beings.”
Previously, President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol appeared on the April 20th broadcast of tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block”. The controversy surrounding President-elect Yoon’s appearance on “You Quiz” caused sharply mixed reactions on viewers’ bulletin board.
In addition, the controversy grew as it was claimed that Yoo Jae-suk‘s intention was reflected in the background of You Quiz’s refusal of President Moon Jae-in, Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum and former Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung before President-elect Yoon‘s appearance.
Some people called for Yoo Jae-suk‘s public explanation. As malicious comments continued to pour out in this regard, Yoo Jae-suk‘s agency Antenna announced legal action.
