At the Spring/Summer 2024 fashion show that just took place, how much Dior adores Jisoo was more evident than ever
On September 26th, Dior’s Spring/Summer 2024 show as part of Paris Fashion Week took place. The presence of top global stars took the spotlight. Despite Dior’s show being a star-studded event, the only celebrity treated like royalty by the French fashion house was BLACKPINK Jisoo. It’s not difficult to notice the special treatment reserved exclusively for Jisoo by Dior. All attention was on the idol.
VIP Treatment from Dior
Dior’s treatment of their global ambassador Jisoo is truly befitting of her status. She was welcomed by Dior’s Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, PR Director Mathilde Favier, Deputy CEO Olivier Bialobos, and more. Ahead of the show, a video message from France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron to Jisoo also spread rapidly on Twitter.

A crowd surrounded Jisoo from outside to inside the venue, including many big figures from Dior
Hollywood A-listers Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence were stunned by the crowd trying to take photos of Jisoo.
Compared to how other Dior ambassadors were welcomed at the show, it’s clear how different and special the treatment for Jisoo was. Only Jisoo’s car was allowed inside the premises, and upon her arrival, high-ranking Dior executives were there to personally welcome her.
Jisoo’s Seating Position
Jisoo was seated in the front-row, alongside CEO of Dior, Delphine Arnault, Charlize Theron and her daughter, LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault and his wife Hélène Mercier. Other Dior guests included global ambassador Anya Taylor-Joy, ambassador Jenna Ortega, friend of the brand Jennifer Lawrence, and China regional ambassadors Dilraba Dilmurat, Karry Wang were also seated close to each other in the front row.

Jisoo’s Outfit
Jisoo’s outfit was a reinterpretation of look 68 from the Spring/Summer 2024 collection unveiled during the previous day’s show. Instead of sticking to the original princess-like look, Dior was ready to customize it to fit Jisoo’s figure and style.
After Dior’s show ended, Jisoo continued to participate in the second event in Paris, the private exhibition ‘DIOR J’ADORE’ by Dior Beauty. She was dressed in a Haute Couture design from Dior’s Fall 2023 collection. Notably, this wasn’t the first time she wore Dior’s Haute Couture.
