DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon was urgently taken to the hospital during filming + to undergo surgery tomorrow 

Jung Chaeyeon had an accident on the set of the new drama “The Golden Spoon”. 

In the early morning on September 10, DIA member and actress Jung Chaeyeon fell down the stairs while filming MBC’s upcoming drama “The Golden Spoon”. 

After the accident, Jung Chaeyeon was urgently taken to a hospital in Seoul. X-rays and CT scans revealed a fractured collarbone and symptoms of a concussion. She has been receiving emergency treatment. 

Jung Chaeyeon will undergo surgery on the fractured collarbone on September 13. Her ligament will also be examined. If ligament damage is found, suture surgery will also be performed.

MBC’s new drama “The Golden Spoon” is scheduled to premiere on September 23. On September 14, Jung Chaeyeon’s group DIA is set to release their new single album “Rooting For You”.
