JTBC’s drama “Doctor Cha” once again achieved a new viewer rating peak.
According to the rating research company Nielsen Korea on May 15th, episode 10 of JTBC’s Sat-Sun TV series “Doctor Cha” (written by Jung Yeo Rang/ directed by Kim Dae Jin, Kim Jung Wook) recorded a nationwide viewership of 18% and 18.9% in the Seoul area.
This achievement exceeded its previous rating peak of 16.2% in episode 8.
In addition, it also surpassed the highest rating record of JTBC’s 2020 popular drama “Itaewon Class” and ranked 4th in JTBC’s all-drama rating chart.
Meanwhile, “Doctor Cha” tells about the new start of Cha Jung Sook (Uhm Jung Hwa), who has been a housewife for 20 years, as a first-year resident.
In episode 10, Seo In Ho (Kim Byung Chul), the chief surgeon at a university hospital, confessed that he is the husband of Cha Jung Sook while being drunk. Jung Sook cried heavily after finding out the fact that In Ho and his mistress Choi Seung Hee (Myung Se Bin), a family medicine professor, have a daughter together.
