Lee Jung Jae’s daughter in “The Housemaid” is returning to the big screen in “Oh! My Ghost”.

Former child actress Ahn Seo Hyun, who played Lee Jung Jae’s daughter in the 2010 thriller film “The Housemaid”, is about to make a comeback in the upcoming comedy horror film “Oh! My Ghost”.

After debuting as a child actress in the 2008 KBS’s drama “Love Marriage” in 2008, Ahn Seo Hyun was cast to play the main character in director Bong Joon Ho’s 2017 film “Okja” following supporting roles in “The Housemaid”, “The Divine Move”, the dramas “Dream High” and “The Village Achiara’s Secret”.

At the 70th Cannes Film Festival, Ahn Seo Hyun was nominated for Best Actress for her outstanding performance in “Okja”. This year, she is about to make her first comeback to the big screen in 5 years in “Oh! My Ghost”.

“Oh! My Ghost” follows Taemin (Jung Jin Woon), a guy who can see ghosts. He works at a shooting studio where mysterious incidents take place every night. To solve the mystery, he teams up with Kongi (Ahn Seo Hyun), a ghost who has nowhere to go.

Kongi is a ghost that lives in the shooting studio without knowing her own name or age. One day, she is found by Taemin, who is on duty at night, and he first tries to kick her out like the other employees who are on the watch. However, instead of being afraid of him, Kongi shows off a fun chemistry and synergy with Taemin, who later gives her the name Kongi. Ahn Seo Hyun is said to excel in expressing the bizarre and unexpected charm of the ghost Kongi, showing its human-like aspects.

Director Hong Tae Sun of “Oh My Ghost” praised Ahn Seo Hyun’s acting skills and raised expectations for the film, saying, “Ahn Seo Hyun is a bright and lively actress. She is perfect for the role of Kongi.”
