Controversial actress Seo Ye-ji begins to promote her comeback with drama “Eve”… She appears with a smile but the public’s reaction is still cold

Actress Seo Ye-ji is about to end her hiatus and return to acting activities.

On the 24th, tvN released a video of the new drama “Eve” on its official Youtube channel.

“Eve” (directed by Park Bong-seop/ written by Yoon Young-mi/ produced by Studio Dragon and C-Jes Entertainment) is a drama that depicts the most intense and deadly revenge that will destroy the top 0.1% of high-class chaebol family in Korea. 

Seo Ye-ji will play the role of Lee Ra-el, the woman who plans revenge in this drama. Lee Ra-el is a fierce woman who designs revenge after the shocking death of her father during her childhood. She becomes the main character of a 2 trillion won divorce lawsuit of a couple that belongs to the top 0.1% upper class in Korea.

Earlier, Seo Ye-ji gained huge love for her performance in tvN’s drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay”, which ended in August last year. However, she has temporarily suspended her activities due to various controversies over manipulating her ex-boyfriend Kim Jung-hyun, forging academic documents and school bullying. 

When Seo Ye-ji chose “Eve” as her next drama and announced her return, netizens poured out complaints and criticism against her. Since then, Seo Ye-ji has appeared on her agency’s official Instagram again, thanking fans for their wishes on her birthday.

“Eve” is set to air on May 25th and the production team has also started to release videos and promote the drama in earnest. The public’s gaze is still cold since Seo Ye-ji looks so calm as if nothing happened.
