Contract renewal failed or succeeded? BLACKPINK Lisa thanked fans at finale concert, “You made my 20s shine”
Amid rumors of not renewing contract, Lisa expressed her sincere heart at the end of BLACKPINK world tour
BLACKPINK held “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] FINALE IN SEOUL” at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu Seoul on the evening of September 17th.
Before performing the last stage, the members took turns to share their feelings about wrapping up such a long world tour.
BLACKPINK is currently in the process of renewing their exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment. Since there have been speculations that Lisa’s contract renewal has fallen through, fans were waiting to see whether she would comment on the issue during her ment at the finale concert.
At the concert, Lisa said, “To be honest, I wrote down what I wanted to say to BLINKs on my phone”, adding “To our BLINKs. It’s been 2596 days since we met. We have BLINKs by our side, so we were able to perform at various concert venues throughout this tour.”
She continued, “We wouldn’t have done it all without BLINKs Thank you for always supporting us and enjoying the shows until the end. BLINKs have given us many great experiences and I love you all. Thank you for making my 20s shine”.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s long journey with “BORN PINK” world tour finally ended with the final show at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. As such, the girl group has successfully completed the largest world tour in the history of Korean female singers as the first to enter Gocheok Sky Dome.
