Comedian who poured water on her head after failing to get award at “2023 MBC Entertainment Awards”

The “2023 MBC Entertainment Awards” was held at the MBC Media Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on December 29th.

Although Hong Hyun-hee was nominated for the “Excellence Award (Variety Shows – Female)”, the honor went to Jang Do-yeon.

Before the name of the winner was announced, Hong Hyun-hee expressed her expectations by putting on the see-through gloves that she had taken off earlier. When she did not win the award, she poured water on her head and created a cheerful atmosphere with a performance expressing dissatisfaction. During Jang Do-yeon’s award acceptance speech, she evoked laughter with her appearance as if shedding tears.

Hong Hyun-hee’s presence continued to shine afterward. When Yoo Byung-jae, who was sitting next to her, became a nominee, she handed over her gloves. When Yoo Byung-jae was not awarded the award, they together presented a tear performance, turning the scene into a sea of laughter.
