Fans are mad because Lisa’s privacy is not respected during her private vacation
BLACKPINK Lisa was recently spotted shopping at a clothing store in HCM City, Vietnam. She was maintaining a low profile by wearing a mask. However, the idol’s forehead, bob hairstyle, and her wearing a Celine bag, still made it easy for fans to recognize her.
While fans were excited to spot Lisa in Vietnam, controversy erupted when a local shop disrespected Lisa’s privacy. A Facebook page of the clothing store posted photos and confirmed Lisa’s visit with a caption that read, “Thank you BLACKPINK’s Lisa for visiting our store…“.
What took it to the next level was that the store even posted a photo of Lisa and her family member’s detailed shopping bill, itemizing each purchase and its price.
It has also been revealed that the store’s staff was behind the video and photo that invaded Lisa’s privacy, even during her vacation. The privacy invasion didn’t sit well with many netizens who expressed their disappointment with the store. Comments like, “Respect the privacy of idols so that they can still visit Vietnam,” “How could you publish a customer’s bill like this,” “This is sasaeng fan behavior…” surfaced.
Amidst the controversy, the store’s Facebook page took down the post.
