Jennie attended the 76th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France on May 22nd (local time). She appeared on the red carpet event and participated in the afterparty before the premiere of HBO’s drama “The Idol”.
Jennie stole the spotlight with her simple pose when standing at the afterparty photo wall with singer Troye Sivan, whom she worked with in the drama.
“The Idol” is produced by Canadian pop star The Weeknd and HBO’s “Euphoria” director Sam Levinson. It tells about the relationships surrounding a rising pop idol and the music industry.
Meanwhile, the 76th Cannes Film Festival will be held from the 16th until the 27th of May. A total of seven Korean works, including “Cobweb”, “Hopeless”, “Sleep”, etc., were invited to the festival.
