Actor Jo In-sung’s close friends revealed the fact that he has become a “communication enthusiast”
In episode 5 of tvN’s variety show “GBRB: Reap What You Sow”, which aired on Nov 10th, Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, Do Kyungsoo and Kim Ki-bang mentioned their close friend Jo In-sung.
While on their way to the field, Do Kyungsoo took a photo of the sky. Upon seeing this, Lee Kwang-soo teased him, “You’re almost an influencer now. You said you don’t do SNS, but now you’re addicted. When Woo-bin told Kyungsoo ‘Kyungsoo, you should use SNS’, he acted like he didn’t hear.”
They then turned their attention to Jo In-sung, who recently started using SNS. The members exposed, “He said he wouldn’t use it, but…“, “He told me ‘What? SNS?’ then started using it.” Kim Ki-bang caused laughter as he mentioned Jo In-sung’s change, “When I talked to In-sung over the phone, he said ‘Ki-bang, let’s communicate. Send me a DM’ then hang up.”
Jo In-sung opened an official SNS account last year, intending to actively communicate with domestic and international fans. The account not only showcases various aspects of his life as an actor but also shares personal daily moments.
In recent times, Jo In-sung has received attention for actively engaging with fans on SNS. The actor attended the 13th Beautiful Artist Awards ceremony, where he surprised fans with a long mustache and beard, a departure from his usual look.
Afterwards, Jo In-sung posted a selfie with the beard on his social media account with the caption, “Thank you for congratulating me.” Fans left hilarious comments such as “Are you testing the limits of my love?”, “Are you wearing a fake beard?” and “Shave now when I am still being nice to you.” Jo In-sung also left a witty response to fans’ reaction. Under a comment that said “It’s cool. You look cool, but I need someone to deposit some money to you (for makeover) as soon as possible”, the actor wrote, “I did it because I was deposited.”
Jo In-sung confirmed his appearance in director Na Hong-jin’s new work “Hope” and has been growing a beard for the role. Director Na Hong-jin even commented “I don’t know who it is, but he looks really handsome“, to which Jo In-sung replied, “I’m the main character in your work.”
Jo In-sung, along with his SNS activities, has been actively communicating with fans through his appearance on tvN’s “Unexpected Business”, presenting a more approachable charm outside the screen.
