Known for their images as good people on the screen, Han Hyo-joo and Yoo Yeon-seok attract attention as they herald shocking transformations as villains in upcoming acting projects. Han Hyo-joo replaces the late Kim Joo-hyuk’s position in “Believer 2”

Scheduled to premiere on November 17th, “Believer 2” is the follow-up film to director Lee Hae-young’s box office hit “Believer 2” that attracted 5.2 million viewers in 2018.

As the first movie produced impressive villains, such as drug dealers Jin Ha-rim (Kim Joo-hyuk) and Boryeong (Jin Seo-yeon), anticipation for the new villain Big Knife by Han Hyo-joo in the second movie is rising. Introducing her role, Han Hyo-joo shared, “In ‘Believer 2’, I took over the position left by Kim Joo-hyuk and Jin Seo-yeon in the first movie”.

Big Knife is the person closest to Mr. Lee and is in charge of cleaning up crime scenes for the organization. According to the original plan, this character was a man, but the production team changed the setting and cast Han Hyo-joo. As such, the actress made all efforts to portray Big Knife, such as wearing dentures and glasses, getting tanned skin, or doing harsh action training. She confessed, “I worked out intensely without drinking a sip of water for 3 days”.

“Believer 2” featuring Han Hyo-joo’s villainous performance will be available on Netflix from November 17th.

Regarding his decision to join “A Very Luck Day”, Yoo Yeon-seok shared, “I had the desire to show a new side that viewers had never seen before. Knowing senior actors Lee Sung-min and Lee Jung-eun would do this work, I knew it was an offer I could never refuse”.
