Chungha To Become New DJ For KBS’s Radio Program “Volume Up”

Singer Chungha has been selected as the new DJ for KBS CoolFM’s “Volume Up”

On September 22nd, a staff of KBS Radio CoolFM’s “Volume Up” said, “Chungha will be taking over the new DJ position. We believe that Chungha will showcase her sincerity and bright energy on the radio show”.

Chungha also said, “I’m very happy to greet my fans again on a radio program. I will listen to all the small daily life stories of radio listeners and sympathize with them. Especially, I will become a DJ who can help ‘Volume Up’ listeners end their day with laughter”.

Chungha was the DJ for EBS’s radio “Listen” for two years from September 2017. Therefore, fans are raising expectations for the story she will tell as a DJ of “Volume Up”.

Chungha debuted as a member of I.O.I in 2016 after competing in Mnet’s survival show “Produce 101”. She started her solo career in 2017 by releasing the first mini album “Hands on Me”. Later, Chungha released various hit songs, such as “Roller Coaster”, “Gotta Go”, “Snapping”, “Sparkling”, etc., and became one of Korea’s representative female solo singers.

“Volume Up” is KBS Radio’s flagship radio program that started in 1995 and airs every day at 8 p.m. It has produced various star DJs, such as Maybee, Choi Kang-hee, Yoon In-na, etc. Chungha will replace Heize to communicate with radio listeners.
