Choi Hyun-wook, the treasure that is recently found through “Twenty-five Twenty-one”, released new photoshoot and shared behind stories of the audition
Actor Choi Hyun-wook captivated female fans’ hearts with his chic eyes.
On the morning of March 2nd, Choi Hyun-wook’s agency GOLDMEDALIST released a behind-the-scenes cut of his photoshoot.
Choi Hyun-wook, who is performing passionately as a cute character and a fashionista of the 1998s in tvN’s Saturday-Sunday series “Twenty-five Twenty-one”, attracts attention by showing a 180-degree different visual from his image in the drama.
In the photos, Choi Hyun-wook showed off his chic vibe in the refreshing background of the sky and sunlight, capturing the energy of early spring. Apart from accessories, such as pearl earrings and long necklaces, he pulled off different kinds of outfits, including a white shirt with ruffle decorations, deep red knitwear, and a long black jacket perfectly.
In the drama “Twenty-five Twenty-one”, which depicts the growth of 5 young people and is doing well in both popularity and ratings, Choi Hyun-wook takes on the role of Moon Ji-woong and is receiving huge love for his acting that reminds the viewers of their love at young ages.
Playing a character who will directly express his feelings for the girl he likes, Choi Hyun-wook recalled the day he auditioned, “It was mid-summer. Because the character Ji-woong is a fashionista so I wore a leather jacket. I tend to sweat a lot when I’m nervous. So at that time, sweat kept flowing down on my face as soon as I started acting”.
He continued to tell a behind story of the audition, saying, “As soon as the audition was over, they said, ‘This boy is Ji-woong’. Ji-woong is the type of person who will say ‘It’s pretty’ when he sees pretty things, ‘I like it’ when he likes something, and ‘I want to be with you’ if he wants to be with someone. They said the funniest thing was that I said the lines so seriously”.
Meanwhile, tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Twenty-five Twenty-one”, starring Choi Hyun-wook, Kim Tae-ri, Nam Joo-hyuk, Kim Ji-yeon, and Lee Joo-myung, airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 P.M.
