“I honestly didn’t feel the popularity when ‘The Glory’ was released not long ago, but now I feel it a little bit,” Cha Joo Young said, confessing, “I really like being called ‘Stewardess Hye Jeong’.”

Cha Joo Young shared that there were many differences between her real self and Choi Hye Jeong, saying  “I’ve heard a lot that I seem difficult to approach. I think I might have unintentionally given off a cold impression because I’m actually quite blunt.”

However, she also found the process of playing Choi Hye Jeong very interesting. “I had to use characteristics that I didn’t have and show them in a more exaggerated way,” the actress said, adding that there was a positive change after taking on the role of Choi Hye Jeong.

In particular, Cha Joo Young said, “My personality changed a bit while filming “The Glory”. I’ve become more straightforward and expressive with my emotions,” adding, “Regardless of the pros and cons of the character Choi Hye Jeong, I think it’s a positive change for me.”

In response to a question about being labeled as a “silver spoon”, Cha Joo Young said, “I don’t know which part is correct and which part is not, and I don’t know where to start and where to end.” She also said while laughing, “My friends and I joke around saying ‘half is right and half is different.'”

As for why she chose the 50-episode weekend drama “The Real Has Come!” after “The Glory” Cha Joo Young said it was a “new challenge”.

She said, “I haven’t had many opportunities to do such long works. Also, I’ve played a lot of roles that explode at the end, but in a long work like this, I think I can try various things through evenly distributed parts, so I’m looking forward to it.”

Lastly, Cha Joo Young described her role as Jang Se-jin in “The Real Has Come!” as “a very neat and simple character and a sophisticated and cool woman with the right amount of confidence.”

She also raised expectations by adding, “I’ve put a lot of myself into it. I think many aspects (of this character) resemble me”.
