Cha Eun Woo will appear in “Wonderful World” as a medical student.
On May 26th, Cha Eun Woo is confirmed to be the male lead in the new drama “Wonderful World” (tentative title).
“Wonderful World” is a suspense revenge drama in which the female lead heals the wound of losing her son by taking revenge against the perpetrator who was forgiven by the law.
Cha Eun Woo plays Kwon Sun Yul, a medical student who dreams of treating sick children like him. Kwon Sun Yul is a mysterious character who develops a close relationship with the female lead after being involved in an incident with her.
Currently, Kim Nam Joo is in talks to star as the female lead. Kim Kang Woo is being considered for the role of the female lead’s husband.
The series will be directed by Lee Seung Young and produced by Samhwa Networks.
Cha Eun Woo will also appear in the tvN’s “A Good Day to Be a Dog”, based on the Naver webtoon of the same name. The drama is scheduled to air in the second half of this year.
