ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun Woo has been appointed as the ambassador for the “Visit Korea Year” promotion for 2023-2024.
On May 24th, Fantagio, Cha Eun Woo‘s agency, announced that Cha Eun Woo has been appointed as the ambassador for the “Visit Korea Year” promotion in the period of 2023-2024.
As the appointed ambassador, Cha Eun Woo plans to engage in promotional activities to introduce Korean tourism to the world and enhance global awareness and favorability towards K-culture.
The activities will be carried out in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization and will include Korean introduction videos, overseas Korean tourism roadshows, and online campaign promotions.
The “Visit Korea Year 2023-2024” is a nationwide tourism campaign aimed at integrating K-culture and tourism to promote the recovery of the tourism industry and economic revitalization.
With various contents that combine art, K-pop, sports, and other aspects of K-culture and tourism being developed, Cha Eun Woo, as the appointed ambassador, is expected to exert global influence through active activities to promote Korean culture and tourist destinations worldwide.
Recently, Cha Eun Woo showcased his stable acting skills in the TVING original series “Island”, where he assumed the role of the youngest priest, Jo Han.
This year, Cha Eun Woo has been expanding his career as an actor, and is casted as the male lead in the K-drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog” (working title), which is adapted from a webtoon of the same name.
