“Wonderful World” was named in the 2024 MBC Friday-Saturday drama lineup
MBC’s new drama “Wonderful World” (planned by Kwon Sung-chang/directed by Lee Seung-young and Jung Sang-hee/written by Kim Ji-eun/produced by Samhwa Networks) is a human mystery drama in which a mother who unfairly lost her young son directly punishes the perpetrator who is out of the law. The drama is receiving high expectations due to the immersive and sensuous direction of Director Lee Seung-young, acclaimed for dramas such as “Tracer 1, 2” and “Voice 2”, as well as the excellent writing skills and tight plot development of Writer Kim Ji-eun, known for works like “Lie After Lie” and “Cheongdamdong Scandal”.
Adding to the anticipation are the cast members, including Kim Nam-joo, who returns to MBC dramas after 13 years, Cha Eun-woo, challenging the mystery genre after romantic comedy and fantasy, Kim Kang-woo, who captivates the public with his unrivaled character immersion in every project, and Im Se-mi, who demonstrates a solid acting presence in each role.

Meanwhile, Kim Kang-woo assumes the role of Kang Soo-ho, a successful news anchor and Eun Soo-hyun’s husband. Kang Soo-ho genuinely loves his wife and son, but after the death of his son, his entire life is shaken to its core.
On the other hand, Lim Se-mi plays the role of Han Yoo-ri, a close sister and successful owner of an editing shop who Eun Soo-hyun considers as a close sibling. Han Yoo-ri regards Eun Soo-hyun and her mother as family, nurturing the wounded Eun Soo-hyun. As the relationships of these four main characters revolve around Eun Soo-hyun, the drama is set to provide viewers with thrilling immersion.
