The upcoming drama “Wonderful World” (working title), starring Cha Eun-woo and Kim Nam-joo, is on MBC’s schedule
On November 13, an official from the production company of “Cha Eun-woo and Kim Nam-joo’s upcoming drama, “Wonderful World”, stated, “‘Wonderful World’ has been confirmed to air on MBC. The detailed broadcast timing is yet to be determined.”
Meanwhile, “Wonderful World” is an emotional healing thriller that unfolds as Kim Nam-joo (playing Eun Soo-hyun) loses her young son unjustly and takes matters into her own hands to punish the perpetrator who escaped legal consequences. The drama has gained attention with the confirmed cast including actors Kim Nam-joo, Cha Eun-woo, Kim Kang-woo, and Im Se-mi.
“Wonderful World” is a collaboration between director Lee Seung-young, known for the drama series “Tracer” and “Voice 2”, and writer Kim Ji-eun, who worked on “Lie After Lie” and “Cheongdam-dong Scandal”.
Kim Nam-joo is drawing anticipation for her first return to the small screen after six years through this project.
Meanwhile, this is Cha Eun-woo’s 3rd appearance in an MBC drama, following the currently airing “A Good Day to Be a Dog” and the past drama “Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung”.
“Wonderful World” is currently in the midst of filming.
