The cast and production crew of JTBC’s weekend drama ‘Doctor Cha’, which is enjoying soaring viewership ratings, will enjoy a reward vacation.
According to a broadcasting official on May 31st, the actors and production staff of ‘Doctor Cha’ will go on a reward vacation to Vietnam at the end of June.
‘Doctor Cha’ follows housewife Cha Jung Suk (Uhm Jung Hwa), who has devoted herself to her family for over 20 years, as she starts living her own life and going back to work as a resident doctor.
The drama has gained popularity by surpassing a viewership rating of 18.5% (Nielsen Korea) and is drawing attention as it approaches its finale on June 4th, with the possibility of exceeding 20%.
The production company plans to express gratitude to the actors for their recent success and is searching for a suitable time and place for the reward vacation. The actors have reportedly received a rough plan of the vacation and are coordinating their schedules accordingly.
