A male celebrity got the news of enlistment too suddenly and had to give up his job immediately

On October 6th, JoysNews24 reported that Kamel, a participant on “Street Man Fighter”, will be entering the Nonsan Training Center in Chungnam on the same day to start his mandatory military service. Kamel (Lee Yeon), who is a member of the dance crew WE DEM BOYZ, is currently appearing in the popular Mnet dance survival show “Street Man Fighter”.

As a result, Kamel is dropping out of “Street Man Fighter” for his military service. It is known that he participated in the recording of the program until recently, and even prepared the stage with fellow members passionately.

Regarding his sudden departure, Kamel told JoyNews24, “I’m sorry for the sudden news of enlistment, but I’m happy and proud that I’m being called to serve the country.”

He also added, “I was so happy and honored to meet senior and junior dancers while appearing in ‘Street Man Fighter’. The competition isn’t over yet, but I had so much fun while filming.”

Born in 1998, Kamel began his military duty at the age of 24. 

Kamel’s dance crew, WE DEM BOYZ, includes members Vata, Ingyoo, Dophan, Haesung, Insun, Kamel, Kyungnam, and Youngbin. They participated in the choreography of various celebrities, including Zico, Kang Daniel, SEVENTEEN, VICTON, and The Boyz.

Meanwhile, “Street Man Fighter” is a survival program for male dancers, which aired on Mnet. It is a sequel to “Street Woman Fighter”, which made the names of female dancers such as Noze, Lee Jung, and Aiki widely known.
