Burning Sun Perpetrators’ Whereabouts: Jung Joon-young Prepares To Immigrate, Seungri Continues Business

The recent status of ex-BIGBANG Seungri and Jung Joon-young after being released from prison has been revealed

On the morning of May 22nd, SBS Love FM’s “Kim Tae-hyun’s Political Show” featured the guest appearance of SBS Entertainment News reporter Kang Kyung-yoon, who exposed Burning Sun Scandal, illegal filming, prostitution, as well as the close relationship between people in the entertainment industry and the police.

On the broadcast, lawyer Kim Tae-hyun mentioned the content of BBC’s documentary about the Burning Sun Scandal in 2019. He wondered the reason BBC paid attention to the case and started producing this documentary.

Revealing that the documentary production took about 3 years, reporter Kang emphasized, “In fact, I didn’t intend to appear in the documentary because this incident was also a trauma to me. When such major incidents occurred, I didn’t know what to do. Once things calm down, I should be responsible for dealing with it by myself. That was so scary. I had just barely returned to my daily life and I needed to focus on my work. I couldn’t decide because having to review the incident from 4 years ago and fight again was just exhausting. However, the BBC production team kept coming to Korea to persuade me.”

In the meantime, she recalled the late singer Goo Ha-ra, who contributed greatly to revealing the relationship between Burning Sun members and the police. Reporter Kang said, “It was so difficult to mention the deceased after she passed away. I was also very worried about how the bereaved family would accept it. After Goo Ha-ra passed away, I felt so heartbroken that I couldn’t look through my contacts. Recently, I looked at the messages I had with Ha-ra and felt that I needed to talk about her”.
